Hey There! It's going to be a great new year. I am doing a points challenge with two friends starting yesterday and it's been great. We did it before and I won twice and my friend won once. The loser sends a gift so it's a great incentive for us. I have pics listed on my previous entries so check them out if you just checking out my journal. I will post more later as well. Today started out bad but it's really ending on a good note. Well better get moving...hubby and I are going to watch 9/11 and he's waiting for me. Talk to you tomorrow.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Here is a little info about me and my life.
I grew up in a very small town, my dad was an alcoholic for as long as I can remember but he was never a mean alcoholic. My mom was not but she did have her moments that she partied. I grew up with two brothers and four sisters. I was the youngest. I was spoiled by my older sisters and felt very fortunate to have them in my life. My parents never made us go to school so I ended up failing out because of NOT going. I quit when I was a junior, and have always regretted it. My best friend at the time tried to talk me out of it but I was certain that this is what i wanted to do. I was very lucky to meet a great guy who by the way talked me into going BACK to school (which I did) and move in with his family. His parents were awesome and I loved them. They were (what I considered at the time) very wealthy. They had an awesome home and I would yell at my boyfriend whenever he would put his feet on the coffee table! We met Aug 27 of 1986 and were married Aug 29, 1987. I had just turned 18 and he was 17 (needed his parents permission) Dating just over a year my brother said we would never make it and I shouldn't do it. He was so angry with me. Of course , who listens to their brother or sister right? Well, I did marry this man and had three beautiful children with him over our 20 years of marriage. We got fat together too! lol That is the reason I'm here journaling for one is to try to get some support through journaling. Even if I don't get any comments the main thing is to see what I eat and keep track of it all. Pics coming up in my next entry.

New Start as of the 1st of Jan, 2007.
Today was a fun day for the family...we had "Big Toy Day" its a celebration we have right around my Inlaws anniversary. And it's also when they adopted my hubby. So we all exchange gifts and usually a dinner. The baby got a shake and go track along with a Dora Big Wheel...He is a boy but he loves dora and he's only 2 so I oked it with grandma who bought it. He really enjoyed the presents and his fav was a stuffed Dora doll of all things lol. My oldest son got a laptop and my daughter got an IPOD and so did hubby and I . I love it. 
THE PIC ABOVE IS OF ME BUT IT'S NOT A VERY CLEAR ONE BUT THE ONLY ONE I HAVE RIGHT NOW ON THE COMPUTER THANKS TO MY SON ;0
I'm now at work and it's hell tonight because of the hockey teams in here. They are just horrible to deal with and the parents are worse then the kids are!
Well, tomorrow is a start of a new life for me...its the day I begin to prepare for my "new" year. I have tried and tried so many times and each time I fail. I'm looking for something...anything to push me in the right direction. I hope I can do it!

Learning about my journal!
This is my goal here!!
I hate not knowing how to add pics and change my font lol BUt I will figure it out soon enough. I did figure out how to do a link :) I linked one of my favorite jounals (Linda's) It took me SO long to read all of her journal but I loved it!~ Its very inspirational. Well there are a lot of things that I plan on doing here in this journal...one being to lose weight over this next year and another is to document my new baby's life. He's not that "new" anymore (he's 2 already) but he's still young enough to enjoy reading it when he gets older.
I already have something to tell tonight! My two older children went to the bowling alley to bowl and they ran into a drunk ADULT that was causing them trouble and he was teasing my son because he is deaf. I personally thought the guy may have been gay. He was following my son around (my son is 16) and my son was trying to figure out why he was doing it. My daughter told the guy that he was deaf and he just began bugging him about it. Saying he wasn's deaf he was just stuck up! My kids told the bartender who was there to stop the guy and she flat out said "NO" I was ticked to hear that! The kids just left and came home...smart thing to do. My daughter was so angry and she yelled at the guy and said "NO ONE teases my brother but me! " It was SO cute and here I thought she hated her brother! She is 17 almost 18. I'm so proud of her for stickeing up for her brother like she did! I LOVE YOU ALEXANDRA!!
