Pictures!!

Finally getting to the pictures.  Don't forget to check out my last entry I put in today :)  It's about Cubby and Nick!

Anyway, remember when I said I was going to share pics with you when we went on a sight seeing day last sat?!  Well, I finally got to downloading them so here they are!

First off we have MAX who thinks he can drive!  He's so cute!

Then we have Nick blowing his train whistle while we watch for animals.

The next pictures are from our "make out" spot lol!  Yes, we went to visit it but NO we did not make out!  lol

The road leading out

This dock is the first place we ever kissed and he gave me his jacket that day.

And before we went home we stopped at a park next to our old high school.

It was a very fun afternoon and we even went over to the place we were married and had our reception.  We have good memories in the county.

Stefan receiving his silver medal academic award!

Pat, Nick and Alex at the awards ceremony sitting behind us.

Alex took a picture of Pat in our car while he trys to sleep.

Catching up!

First!!! Shell I forgot to tell you this in emial!  Sunday, Nick went to Grandmas while we watched the game and he stayed there for a few hours after the game too.  I got a call from grandma telling me that Nick had an accident but he was ok.  I asked what sort of accident!  She says well he choked on a peppermint candy! She had to do the Heimlich on him!!!  OMGOSH!  I was freaked!  He was so scared!  SO no more peppermint candy's for him!  I never give him that sort of thing and I keep telling everyone that he should not have those but grandma would give him them anyhow lol!  NOW she won't anymore!  Now she won't even give him a sucker! lol  I think it scared her more then him!

Ok so here is how yesterday went.  We had a VERY busy day with apts and that's why I wasn't able to get online. I was just so tired I didn't even turn it on!  Anyway, Nick and I woke up about 8ish...I got in the shower and got Nick cleaned up and dressed.  Called the vet for cubby Dried my hair and then My alarm reminder started ringing off on my cell phone!  APT here APT there.

Vet told me to bring cubby in right away and they would TRY to fit him in.  I was a fill in apt so I would have to wait.  I took my MIL along to keep Nick occupied.  That was a huge help!  SO we waited, and waited, and finally they called Cubby.  Vet checked him over and said he's going to have to do Xrays to find out if something is cracked or broken.  So we left him there and I took my MIL back home and called my daughter to take over for her.  I picked  her and her new boyfriend up (he's very nice by the way)  and we went back to the vet to pick cubby up.  By this time it's getting close to 2pm and I have to be at hubbys work by 2:30 to get to our NEXT apt which is my son's IEP meeting.   He shows me his Xray and explains to me whats all wrong with him...OH BOY!  There was much more then we expected in a 6 yr old dog!  He found NOTHING wrong with his bones...none were broken or cracked in any way. He's thinking he got bruised or there was a sprain.  SO that was good news but then he said...well, we found some other problems with cubby....he has bladder stones (not bothering him now but will in the future) he has arthritis, he has hip diplasia in his right hip (he was favoring his left)  and he has a knee popping in and out of joint.  WHAT ELSE!??  The major thing to fix is his bladders stones...he has a big one in his bladder and a smaller one in the line leading down his penis.  POOR BABY!  SO NOW  I ask him...how much is this all going to cost us?!  He's says upward of a thousand...maybe more!  Now I'm scared because I know Cory is going to freak out over this.  Cubby is my baby and I wouldn't think twice about fixing him up...he's still so young.  But I'm not sure about hubby.  We really don't have the money right now to do it either!  He's on pain meds and some other meds to help him for now but sooner then later we will have to make a decision.  We can't let him live in such pain. After paying the bill (it was over 300 bucks) we left to pick up Cory.

Ok on to my next apt...Stefans' IEP, it was at 3.  Not all the people showed up that should have showed up, I hate that!   We got all good news from his teachers of course and he is doing just awesome.  That apt was over in an hour and off we went...dropped Cory back off at work and Stefan and I went home so I could get supper made before our next apt of the day.  Had dinner, I packed Cory's in a container so he could eat on the way to the school.   Our next apt...at 6:45 at Stefan's High school to the Academic awards ceremony.  He got his silver medal!  We were so proud of him!  That lasted about an hour and 1/2.  The children all receiving awards were the top 25 % of their class.  Stefan was in the top 5 %.  Now it's off for home for the last time today!  We watched a movie (The Condemned) and it was pretty good.  Lots of violence but good.  Then we went to bed!  It was a long day!! I did ok on diet tho except I ended up having two slices of toast with butter and a Pepsi.  Well, I'm going to go have breakfast before it's lunch time! lol

More notes on another movie:

We watched a movie called "The Ultimate Gift" and man if you get a chance to see that movie DO IT! IT was the best movie I have seen in a LONG time!  We watched it twice that night.  I promise you, you won't be sorry you rented it. I'm going to buy it.

weigh in number two and more

First off I have to say YEAH for the packers!  They won all their games so far!  I am SOO happy and yelled a bit during this last game but hey...it was fun.  Stefan's Friend Lia was over and we all sat there and watched it together and had fun yelling together.  I almost had Stefan get me pepsi but told him to get me diet coke instead.  I had one 1/2 and NIck had 1/2 of one.

On to the wiegh in. I was really depressed because I really expected more weigh loss and I only got .4  NOT even 1/2 lb!  AND I did SOO good too the whole week.  Kept it within points and everything. I quess I should be happy I got a loss...it's better then I had been doing. Although I have been adding flex points just to see if I would still continue losing and it did slow it down so I may keep right at points and see how that works for me. However yesterday was a bad day and I had way to much...won't even go into that here but we DID have fun.  We went on a road trip to check out the changing colors and man it was beautiful.  We took Max with us and he had a blast.  Were doing it again next weekend and taking both the dogs.  We wanted to see how max did before we took TWO  of them.  Nick had a great time too.  Stefan and Lia went Ginsing picking with grandpa and found some roots.   They are paying 500 bucks a pound for it!  Not sure how much theirs weighed but we will see.

Sad news...my pom Cubby (he's so little compared to Max) has to go to the vet tomorrow.  BIG OL max trampled over him and hurt his hip somehow.  Now he can't walk on one of his back legs.  I have to carry him out to go potty and then he wants right back in the house to lay down.

I'm back on track today with my diet again so I took one day off...and the bad part about yesterday is that I had a carmel Moolatte from DQ .  Hadn't had one is SO long so I was angry about my lack of more loss and had one.  We had such a goodtime tho and I did take some pics so I will post them tomorrow.  Right now were just trying to get some stuff done outside while the weather is so nice and then were going to go in and watch a movie.  For now I better get back to work so they don't think I deserted them! lol  Take care all!!

Did anyone see Kid Nation?

If there is anyone out there who seen Kid Nation how did you like it?  It was better then I thought.  My hubby said he would not watch it but he watched the whole thing.  I will watch again next week.

Diet has been awesome!  Another good night and another day closer to weigh in :)  I will be back in the morning for another update but for now I wish you all well and hope everyone is having a great week so far!

My interveiw from Missy

Here is my interview from Missy over and Missy's upside down world

Okay, here's your questions!

1.  What type of student were you in high school?  For example, were you an "A" student, "B" student, or "C" student? This is a  good question...in school I was a poor student because I was allowed to skip school when ever I wanted and never went so my grades honestly were d's and F's!  BUT then I met my hubby and he made me go back to high school and It was the first time in my life to be on the honor roll!  I was proud :)

2.  If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I will ALWAYS live right here in WI...love it and always will love it. Have no interest in living elsewhere but love visiting other states.

3.  What is one thing you'd like your children to remember about you when your gone? My ability to get along with ANYONE...my daughter has a problem with this and I want her to learn to find people GOOD qualities...everyone has them!

4.  What is one thing about each of your children you wish you could change if anything?  WOW, well they are who they are but if I were going to change anything for my daughter it would have to be that she had never met that "bad" crowd she was hanging out with.  My oldest son...to be able to hear music if even just once!  My 2 yr old...i can't think of anything yet! lol

5.  Do you have a best friend, and if so, why do you consider that person a best friend.  I have a real life best friend (actually two...Kallie and Nana) and my online best friend (Shelley) My real life BF (Kallie, I have knows since we were little kids! I also dated her brother) are great wonderful caring people and they are great role models for their children.  Hard workers...and to tell you the truth they kind of even look alike! lol Heather, am I right?  My online best friend has been my TRUE life saver when it comes to my diet.  She emails me ALL day long even tho she works full time and has a family.  We met years back on an online diet group and have been email buddy's ever since...I have had several but SHE had always stuck with me even thro bad diet times! I am going to meet her real soon too!

I hope I sent you some tough questions!
Missie

Yes, missy they were tough questions but fun...thanks for interviewing me :)

Counting down

to my 21st day lol. I'm curious as to weather or not it's true what they say...that after that many days it becomes a habit.  Maybe I won't even be able to tell.

Have to sneak an update in here...I almost forgot!  My son is on a roll for school again...getting a 4.0 or very close!  I'm so proud of him.  We just got grade reports in email today :)

Haha, thanks Dondie for calling me a future hot mama! lol That was funny.  Reminds me of back a few months ago when I went to pick my son up...he said to me "Mom, when you get thin I bet my friends will think your hot"  lol  What a wonderful son I have!   He said that day I looked pretty.  WHAT?!  Why only THAT day? lol  Maybe I done somethin right that day!  ;)

For a refresh on pics of family and me (if you want to see the future "hot mama" haha) click on the links below...the first link is my family:

My Family

And the next is

ME at current weight of 280ish and i'm 5'3

And then we have me when I was about

220 or so

Ok so on to the Biggest loser...I was SO mad last night because it was storming here and our satalite went out!!! (can't get cable here in the boon docks or believe me I would have it!) There was 10 min left of the show! I never got to see who got cut!  I know someone off the red team and I'm hoping it was the one who blew off last chance work out. Can't remember her name.  I have to go check internet again to see if they are finally adding the info from last nights show now that the world has seen it. If anyone out there can tell me who got the cut it would make my day :)
I also got more sleep last night...I went to bed late because i was watching "The truth about food" GREAT SHOW...it's with Dr. Oz and it's so informative! Has anyone see it?!  He talks about it on Oprah a few days ago and of course I missed THAT Oprah!  He does lots of experiments with actual people and gives you REAL medical reasons why you should believe the results. The show is usually on Discovery Health and lately they have had A LOT of shows on but they are usually not the same ones.  I have not seen a rerun yet over 2 whole days now.

Ok I think I'm done for this morning...Oh and eating went Great last night...ate my points and that was it :)

WOW it's hot in here

It's close to 80 in my house upstairs today mainly because I"m making ho-made beef barley soup for dinner.  It's boiling away and it's very humid and HOT.

I had to come on this afternoon because I may not get on again tonight later.  The Biggest Loser is on tonight and it's another 2 hour special so I will be keeping my eyes on that tonight.  I believe tonight they will get the black team back in the game with the other teams.  I can't wait for that one, to see how they will work that.  I am taping all the shows so I have to go down to make sure that my tape is set up and I don't miss it.

I had another fabulous day again today and I just wish Saturday would get here already so I can weigh in lol.  Before I ruin it!  It does seem to be getting a touch easier but not much!  It is extremely hard at night...I can't even tell you how hard it has been for me.  Especially when hubby has his nutter bar or some other goody I don't want that late at night.  Although the past few night he has been doing better and choosing healthier choices at night like pickles...I HATE pickles so that doesn't bother me at all!  I am so close to making it two weeks in a row and I refuse to ruin that!

Exercise has been hardly none right now because of my knee...I DO plan on adding it as the weight starts coming off.  I would like to lose 20 to 30 lbs before I start a rigorous exercise routine.  I may start off as Heather did from corset updates and do one min, two min, three min etc....until I'm up to the hour I had in the past.  That was a smart idea and really got your body set up for what was coming next.  So as I go along in this really hard really long journey I'm going to keep my head up!  I'm not going to give up this time!  I have just shy of 2 years before my son's graduation and I would like to be thin for it!  He would be SO proud of me and it would be a wonderful gift to him!  He has wanted me to lose weight for so long now because he wants me to be alive for a long time.  He's worried about me :)  I do understand and that's why I never give up!  I love my kids so much and this will be wonderful for everyone involved. Right now I could not be happier about how I have been doing :)
