I called him and asked him out.   He told me that he would have never called me because he didn't think I would ever like him.  HUH!  Funny!

He did...and then we went to Kmart to get our 4.00 rings!~ How sweet!  We were only 16 and 17 yrs old lol  He worked as a cook then!  And I didn't work!

me, I have 2 brothers (both deceased) and 4 sisters.  He is an only child (adopted) but he has 3   1/2 sisters someplace and a 1/2 brother all that we never get to see.  We did meet all of them once tho.

UMM that would be him for sure ;)  Although I do get away with wearing them if I put them on fast and run!!!

A NickAndMax Movie for ya

This was really cute...I thought I would share it.


 

These two have been destroying my house all morning today!  But boy are they entertaining themselves.  Max has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are so proud of him lately because he's been wonderful with Nick AND he is now fully house trained too =0)))  His only downfall is that he likes to bite on our sweatshirt sleeves!  Why??  He tugs and pulls on them. The funny thing is he REALLY hates his nails clipped!  I clip them every other week and he cries like a baby!  My pom is fine with it and just lays there and lets me do it.  Not him! lol  He has to make a bit deal out of it. 

Today we have a doctor apt for Nick. It's his three year check.  He's a whole THREE now!~  I hope he does ok with that.  He usually does fine at the doctors office.  He has his bath late last night so that is taken care of. 

Stefan has an apt tomorrow for his sports physical.  I had it set for 2:45 but he called me and said NO I have visitors coming at 2 (other deaf kids) and the ironman contest after school in the weight room so that won't work! Ok, so I call the doctor and luckily she got me in at 11am.  Lots of running the next few days.  Wrestling practice starts on the 12th and then at the end of the month starts the matches!  THEN I will be one busy mommmy!  I'm going to TRY bringing Nick with me to the meets but not sure how he will do yet.  I don't want to spend my time running after him...I want to watch Stefan wrestle! lol  So he may have to stay home with dad again this year. Thanks goodness dad doesn't mind missing the meets!  I usually record them so he can watch them at home.  He came with me most of the time before we had Nick but now he doesn't mind keeping him at home so I can go :) On Saturdays (all day meets) dad usually comes with us so then we just both watch him and take turns running after him. lol

Today I am spending the day cleaning.  Nick is napping right now and so I thought I would jump on here quick and say hello.  After he wakes up I have to run and get Stefan and school and then it's back home to clean.  Dinner will be raspberry chicken tonight.  The day is going really good except it's very windy and very cold outside today! 

Guess what?!

Hubby is gone today and tomorrow so you know what that means?!  I get to watch FOOTBALL all day if I want!  Packers WON so that makes me very  happy.  And I am now watching the Patriots game.  I hope the colts win because it's my MIL's sisters team :)  Plus I don't want them to be ahead of the packers! lol  Selfish reasons on my part.   I made another Dinner helpers meal and it's REALLY good again.  I made the Beef garlicy stir fry.  YUM!  We made the Breakfast Lasagna yesterday morning and I tried it today and that was YUM too!  So far it's three out of three that we like.  And I rate them all at a 5 so far. 

I'm going to try to take some pics of our meals tonight.  We STILL have left over Breakfast Lasagna  so that means we got a good three meals out of that one!  It's filling and there was a lot of it.  I tried calling my niece today to see if she wanted a slice for her better half but she didn't answer her phone!  Oh well, her loss right! lol  Well, I'm going to get back to the Patriot game for now. 

Dinner Helper Pictures

Ok My Mil and I went to Dinner Helpers today and we were in and out in just a tad bit over and hour.  It was a really fun and fast way to make six dinners!  All but two are now in my freezer ready to be taken out when we need them.  AND we got to leave all the dishes there for THEM to wash :)  They were clean and ready to go when we got there.  Here are some pics of what we brought home:  If you want a link to this place I have a link in my last entry.  They have a few locations but not many yet.  This is rather new but I'm sure it will be all over the country soon enough.

This first one is of the Breakfast lasagna I made...Yes, they do have a few breakfast entrees too.  There is shredded cheese, onions, eggs, gr pepper, red pepper (FRESH) Canadian bacon, and mushrooms and spices...you can add what you want or omit items you don't want.  YOU put it together so you get to choose!  I added everything.  More for your money! lol
Oh and they give you all the containers you need all you need to bring is a laundry basket to tote your items home.





The other entree's I choose were Garlicky Beef Stir-Fry, Sweet Maple Pork Ribs, Cashew Bless you chicken, Baked Cod, and Beef Stew.







Below is and example of how you put them together.  All the things are separate (what needs to be anyhow) and then you add all the baggies together in one big baggie and slap a label on the gal size bag and stick in in the cooler and go on to your next spot.  Each little kitchen is set up for that particular meal so everything is right there for you to grab and  you do not even have to move one step!  And everything is fresh and never frozen at this point.

A Dinner Helper

Well, it's November already and time to "Fall Back" again!  Now it's time for hubby to go in when it's dark and come home when it's dark!  He hates that!  His office doesn't have a window so the only time he sees the light of day is if he goes out for lunch and usually  he brings his own. Well, today my MIL and I are trying this new Dinner Helpers thingy I added a link on Dinner helpers so you can check it out.  It sounds really good so we have an apt at noon to go make our dinners and all we have to do is make um and bring them home.  They do all the chopping and preparation and clean up.  NICE!  And the price is really good considering that.  I'm going to take some pics on my phone when i'm there  and I will post some of our dinners so you can check them out.  Nick is being MUCH better now that I have added naps back into his routine.  I love that!  Alex is watching him today for us because there are no kids under 10 allowed there which I really like!  I don't want my kid OR anyone else's kids running around while I try to cook!lol  Well, that's about all thats going on today :)  I will add pics when I get home
