New Baby

First of all I have to say, Linda Your right about the George and Callie thing for sure. I was tearing up to when she told Izzy that :(  They always seem to get affairs involved with every good show.  Boy how far television has come since the all time great "Little House on the Prairie (my all time fav show)"

Next,  my rummaging didn't go AS PLANNED but it was good.  The sale that had all my son's clothes at was not active this year.  BUT we got a bed for our guest room, a toy box for Nick for only 4 bucks...will show pics later...and then we got a really super nice BIG file cabinet for my hubby's business for only 25 bucks!  It's one of those nice industrial heavy duty ones. I was so proud of myself! lol  The one like it at office max or best buy was right around $350.  Cory thought I should have gotten a receipt so they could claim it on their business taxes so I went back to ask them lol. 

NOW for the exciting news...We have a new baby in the family!!!  My niece Samantha had her baby last night at 10:18pm.  It was an hour an 1/2 drive but I would not miss it for the world.  It was the first baby I actually got to SEE come out!  WOW what a miracle!  I was in the room with my other Niece but I was busy recording it so I didn't get to see it real well like I wanted to.  So this was really exciting.  We are going to see him again today :)  I got her a dvd all ready ( I snuck a little video even though I wasn't suppose to ) Here are a few pictures for you to see the new bundle of joy...he's beautiful!  His name is Ethan Bradley and he was just under 8 lbs but almost a month early!  He wasn't due till May 21st.

Hey I got an owie!

Ok my toe really hurts STILL...last week I ran into my hubby's shoe because he was IN MY WAY and I was on a mission!  OH man it hurt something awful!   Here is a pic so you can see for yourself...this reminded me of Heather (from Georgia) and her very sore little toe! Ok it's a little blurry but you can see my piggy there with the nail ALMOST OFF!  I have to wear a band aid to bed so It doesn't get stuck on our blanket!  GRR i get chills just thinking about it.  Hehe my foot looks huge..hubby took the picture for me.  Pretty funny looking!

Well, I'm feeling a little better but still things going on that I have no control over and it's making me depressed!  My son was off for the day so him and I and the baby went out bumming today and hit a few rummage sales.  There are huge ones tomorrow at 7am so my MIL and I and Stefan will hit them all day long lol Last year we were gone until like 5pm lol AND they were all in town.  Should be fun...we hit the same one every year...this lady's son works at Abercrombie and Fitch and we buy all his stuff that he needs for school.  Very nice!  She usually wants 5 bucks for shirts and 7 for pants but when you consider what they would cost NEW in the store that's a great price!  The good thing is that we get there with the old lady's (bight and early) who are looking at them saying OMG that is WAY to high lol.  We spent over 150 bucks last year just there alone but we got 3 huge boxes of abercrombie and Hollister stuff. Won't be updating to much tomorrow...will before bed though to let ya know what we found.  OH, my poor son has SO many problems with so many girls liking him lol POOR KID!  He is such a nice person so he's always nice to everyone and I think they take it the wrong way sometimes.  He just adores his girlfriend though and keeps saying how beautiful she is lol. That is just the sweetest thing.  He said every time he sees her she is more beautiful.  We like her too...she is good for Stefan.  She's a good kid and doesn't smoke/ drink all that sort of crap.  Someone Icould see Stefan with later in life :)  OH we went car shopping today for Stefan...he found a yellow mustang he wants to buy :) I told him he could as long as he could make the payments...which he should be able to do.  SO when he's 18 watch for pics of the yellow mustang! 

OMG Kallie, I SO remember those days at charlottes house ...especially when Robert and I were hiding in the closet and my BUTT got all wet form something that was leaking lol!  Those were some fun times...we were just babies back them!   ALthough we didn't think we were.  Us all cool drooling over Rick Springfield! OHH LALA 
ON MORE THING...who thinks that Izzy should be with Mc George??  OH I love them together and when I first started watching the show I thought those two should be together.  I like Callie with Mc Steamy.

UPDATE:  Ok, for anyone who has children you would understand the feeling of pure horror if you find out your child has cancer!  Well read on and help us help this little boy from Canada receive his wish!  He would like to be in the Guinness Book of World Records for receiving the most cards.  This was posted on a friend of mines journal and I copied it so Please do the same so we can get more people to send cards so that this very sick child's dream can come true.  AND it's fun to do!  I have mine ready to go and will mail it off tomorrow :)

Recently, one of our retailers contacted us about 7-year-old Shane, who’s been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and is currently at the Children’s Hospital in Ontario, where he’ll undergo chemo until June. The Make-a-Wish Foundation asked what his special wish would be–well, Shane is going to be 8 years old on May 30th and his wish is to be in the Guinness Book of World Records for getting the most birthday cards. He needs to get over one million cards. (I love a kid who thinks big!)

Crappy day!

Just feeling down in the dumps today, don't know why.  I think tom has something to do with it.  Who knows!  Will update later...Baby is being good anyhow :) so that's a good thing.  Hubby is at work, My other son is in Delevan for a deaf musical (Grease) and my daughter is in school. 

Don't have much of an update really.  My day really sucked today for more reasons then one!  Today is one of those days when nothing is going right.  And then to top it all off I dropped my cell phone in the grocery store today but at least someone turned it into the service counter thank goodness.  Now I'm phoneless!  Shell, I wanted to talk to you but I will text you tomorrow when I pick up my phone k! 
My son enjoyed the musical and he also got to see his X girlfriend.  He said she wasn't mad at him anymore lol.  She was mad at him and they broke up because he didn't text her enough.  Now she says she wished she wouldn't have broke up with him.  Isn't that always how it goes??  Never know what you have till it's gone sort of thing?  Well, I'm going to get my depressed butt to bed.  Here is a pic of my son and his X while I"m talking about them lol. Oh he looked so young! This was her homecoming dance that she asked him too.

It's good to be home but we had an awesome visit!  It was fun and my sister introduced me to this VERY addicting game and I could not stop playing it! I have to buy it on yahoo so I can play it with her over the net.  It's called Jewel Quest.  ANYWAY, Prom is over and we are home. Stefan had a great time!  Here are a few pics..I will post pics of the weekend tomorrow though. I'm WAY tired tonight and I have to go to bed.

Part TWO "A day in the life of"

Well, Nick and I left the same time Cory went to work.  We were going to go to the library but it was closed so we ended up going to A&W for lunch.  We got mini corn dogs.  We got back home and after lunch...about one...Nick wanted to take a nap so I put him down for a nap.  Grandma stopped over for a bit and then while Nick was sleeping I picked up the house a little more and then I fell asleep too (slept about an hour)!  BOY was that nice! lol  I woke up to the fan shutting off in Nicks room (heard it from the monitor in my room) HE GOT OUT OF BED again on his own!   He wanted to go outside right away but we had to run to get Stefan because he was done with Track practice early.  So there goes my extra cleaning time...I  guess I should not have fallen asleep! 
So off to get Stefan and when I get there (30 Min drive) Stefan tells me he was very hungry so we got him burger king and then it was time to go to his tux fitting.   There were SEVERAL kids there!  It took 45 min to get in there and try the thing on.  It looks awesome!  He even got the top hat to go with it.  I am adding pictures in a bit here so check back in a little while.  We are back home now and were trying on the tux again so I can get pictures and so we can show grandma and grandpa.  Be back soon.

Ok Well, it's late...Nick is now in bed and we had some popcorn after coming home from grandma and grandpa's house.  Nick of course was looped up on candy so he was not quiet.  Alex came home to get her clothes and gave Nick a water gun which was NOT funny!  He kept squirting everyone!  After that it was get ready for bed time and thats where I"m going now.  IT's after 11pm now.

Well, the day stared of with the alarm buzzing in my ear at 6:30 this morning!  always hate that!  By 7:05 Stefan and I were out the door on the way to drop him off at school.  SO anyway, When I got back home it was a little after 8 and then I realized it was Friday which means garbage day! OH ya always love that day.  SO I hauled out the garbage...still have to get the bag from up here and bring that down the driveway.  Living out in the country your driveways get pretty long! lol  After that I came in to post and see what my niece Heather was up to BUT she hadn't posted hers yet...HEATHER where are U!?  Your the one who thought this one up...thought you would be here by now.....Will be back later :)
NEXT...As soon as I got the update above done Heather called me and we chatted a while.  baby woke up...he came on out of his room by himself again!:)  Yesterday he didn't but the day before he did also.  This is what he wants to do right away when he wakes up.  NOTICE how messy the house is?!!  OH my how I hate to wake up to this!  This was all from last night and I didn't feel like cleaning it before I went to bed.


 While still on the phone I got Nick changed and his pancakes for breakfast: (The diaper boxed are my rummage sale stuff.

YES, My sewer guys fixing my sewer pump...and I got a picture of their rump! lol  Didn't mean to but just happened that way...REALLY! 
YOU MEAN, MY LIFE CAN GET BACK TO NORMAL???  After this long of hauling my laundry to the laundry mat I'm going to feel like I"m in heaven!  Hehe, I just noticed I called them "MY" sewer guys...I've seen them so much lately they feel like "MINE" lol. 

Nick has to see what's going on...he kept calling them Papa, he thought grandpa was out there. 

Nick falls off his toy :(  My plant fell over again!  I think it's time to say good bye to the fake plant tree.


Nick gets dressed and cubby joins him out on the balcony to be sure that he will annoy the guys by barking at them! 



Off to clean....
 Well, I did clean some but had to run the rest of the garbage out so Nick of course wanted to stay out and plan some.  We went in the wagon and he rode his bike.  We went to get the mail...got my sticker for my van so I put that on right away. I will update pictures later...  It's close to noon now and Cory is just about ready for work and Nick is a little mad that he's leaving again.  He's throwing a little fit. 
I just realized I was hungry!  I have not eaten yet today so Nick and I are going to get some lunch together here. Will update in a bit.
