What did we end up doing?? Links attached today

Click on all the light blue writing for the interesting links today :)

After we left Our Villa today (after breakfast)...the first thing we did was go to the "Old School"  It was really cool and tomorrow they will have a big train on display and we are planning on taking Nick back to see it. Then we decided we would head up lakeshore Dr (scroll down to the special interest area)
and see lake Michigan.  It was  beautiful! And we got some awesome pictures, ran into a LOT of sunflower fields, picked up a dozen eggs from free range chickens.  They had cats in this yard that rubs up against the chickens...cute!  Next, we hit Algoma...a place Cory and his parents went every year to camp and fish when he was a kid...and the grandma and grandpa took our kids after we got married.  It's a beautiful place. Here is the---> campsite they always stayed in. We drove through it and man it looks so much smaller now :)  But it was still really beautiful. We went into town and ate sandwiches there and let Nick play in the playground there...got pics and video of that :) We got our fill of the landscape and touring and so we headed back to the villa to make dinner. Stefan went swimming and met a girl (of course) who knew some sign.  She came up to Stefan and started talking to him and he signed he was deaf.   They will meet up again tomorrow in the pool.  lol  And Cory had to almost force him to go swimming hehe...when he came in the door all smiles I just knew what happened.  He told his dad thank you.  Ok so now it's about time for bed but before that I will add some pics for you.

This picture is my favorite of today...it was taken off lakeshore Dr heading towards Algoma

A Beautiful scenic trail we ran into while checking out different roads.  This one was on the property of the Manitowoc Co. School Dist and belonged to the school forest but looks like anyone can walk on this.

OMGosh if I saw that sunflower field I would think I died and gone to Heaven. I love sunflowers. It's beautiful. I wanna see a lighthouse in real life one of these days. Loved the video and pics. Nick is too sweet. I loved hearing your voice too. I'm always curious as to what kind of accent people have. Mine is hick, country...LoL.
Take care, Chrissie
