Well, today I have just felt like crap! I have a terrible cold and Now I know how my baby felt last week! Poor thing! I just hope he doesn't catch it back from me! The whole house is sick with cold and there are just Kleenex laying everywhere! I am constantly picking up Kleenex! no wonder everyone is sick. No one knows where the garbage is. I just got a small garbage bag and gave one to my son and one to my hubby and said "OK now there is no excuse as to why I would find them on the floor!"
It's not that hard to keep them in one area and then when you happen to get up bring them with you! I didn't' go out today and get my tire fixed or get my license today because I just felt to sick to go out and about! I hope the weather is not to bad by tomorrow so I can get out there and get that stuff done before i leave on Friday afternoon.
Well, my diet has sucked the past two days...I took a "diet" break. I think I needed it and now tomorrow I will get back on track again. I am in the process of cleaning right now and getting things all in order so hubby won't have a problem watching Nick while I'm gone for two days. It's going to be Nicks first time away from me!! I'm not sure I can handle it! I know Cory's mom said she would help him out so I'm not to worried about Nick missing me so much. Plus he just loves his dad and usually is just fine when he watches him when I work. Being gone overnight just bothers me! Well, better get back to cleaning...no pics today but maybe tomorrow.

Gymboree/Gap Fashion show
WOW I have been missing here! I was sick with a nasty cold and just didn't feel like updating yesterday. I did however shop on ebay for our Myth tv stuff...well, the rest of what we needed for it. Were doing Myth tv through the xbox so we don't have to pay the tivo price every month. Can't wait for them to get here now. Tomorrow I will be busy getting my tire fixed on my van and getting a new license because mine is expired so I may not be on much tomorrow either. I am going to try to update pics here so I can show my niece what I got for Nick at Gap and Gymboree.

SNOW
Update below:
Well I'm going to be late for work today because of the big storm and we are snowed in. Here are some pictures from around our home: I loved our snowfall but I wanted more! :( We got somewheres around 10 inches to a foot. We have 2-3 foot snow drifts on our road which is really cool! That's the type of snowfall i love.
This is the first pic we took before we got outside: This is behind my van in our garage! It was very very windy as you can see!

I'm sitting here at work...made it here by 4:15 after I was plowed out at home. The roads were still not good and they are still now plowing the roads much yet. i think they are expecting more snow yet. I just hope it starts after 11pm tonight. It was snowing a little here but now it's stopped again. I do want more snow but want it to come after I get home! lol Other then that...things are going fine tonight and i did get in some exercise here at work with all the shoveling i had to do but I would still like to get on my treadmill after I get home. We will see!

cold starting
Update below:
Today was not a really good day by any means. I'm getting a cold and got a terrible headache! I think I may be also going through caffine withdrawal! I didn't get a whole lot done actually either. My friend from Green Bay called me and while I was on the phone I did dishes and made dinner so that helped lol We were on the phone for like 3 hours or so...not even kidding! It was a fun conversation I haven't talked with her in a long time. AND I even got to listen to her daughter whine like mine does! lol She is the same age...and in fact they played together a lot when they were younger. I would add a really cute picture here of them sharing the potty but I think my daughter would K.I.L.L. me! lol I was also telling her that I have not heard from my sister in like 3 or 4 days so I have to call her tomorrow to see whats up. I just talked to my other sisters in Wabatown (not the real name but knick name) and they are doing ok. In fact I may hire one of them to come help me paint my sons room.
My diet today was ok BUT I did have a candy bar at work...I need to remember to LEAVE MY MONEY AT HOME! I have no control yet so until I do I have to leave it at home! OH man was it a good candy bar though...new one from Reeses and it's the crispy cruncy bar. WOW I love it! Tomorrow I will leave all money at home so I can't get anything in the vending machine.
Other then that...I'm at work with a noisy church group and being bugged ever few minutes for change! They are gambling! GO FIGURE! lol Not sure If I will have an update or not. I'm going to try to get on the treadmill when I get home...NO I AM going to get on the treadmill when I get home so I can count today as having my 15 min of exercise in. I have to keep up on this and not give up the second day of my personal challenge! I will update later if I got it done.
Update:
WOW we are really getting the snow...we are expecting 12-14 inches tonight. I hope we actually get that much! I love snow and we have not gotten much this year at all. I had to drive home in this after work tonight and it took me a LONG time! It was nasty! YES, I'm still going to get on the treadmill!! I need to! 15 min is not all that long and I AM going to do it daily if it kills me!! lol My son does not believe me that we will actually get that much snow. I told him he is in denial. I love that boy! sometimes hes so funny!
AFTER EXERCISE UPDATE:
OK I am SO proud of myself right now...and I know some would consider a 15 min workout a warmup! But to me it's a workout! Remember I am 270 lbs! I felt it, yesterday I had the treadmill set at 2.0 at O incline..YA SEE, warm up to some...but today by the end of my workout I had the MPH at 2.5 and 3.0 incline. The past few weeks I have been doing 15 min here and there..usally only 2 times a week at most but as of yesterday I WILL do it every day. AND I did this with a terrible terrible headache! So that could have been an excuse (would have been last week anyhow) but I worked through it. I hated it, I despised it, I hated it!!! I did NOT want to do this...it was 1am after work...it took me a long time to get home remember! I goofed tonight with the darn candy bar and usually on days I goof the last thing I want to do is exercise but I did it and I still cannot believe that I did. I'm proud and glad I did. At the 7 min mark trust me...I almost quit and said to myself that 1/2 of it is better then nothing! I almost did but I didn't! If I can't simply do 15 min of exercise a day I have other problems to deal with...it's simple and it's easy and not time consuming at all.
I'm also excited about the now 10-16 inches of snow were getting tonight...I just want to stay awake all night and watch it come down! It's now 1:30 and I"m still sitting here at my computer watching it snow. It's just SO relaxing which is something I need right now with this head ache! This is also after taking 3 advil! Still hanging out and irritating! Well, I'm going to go check out the news but wanted to update quick.
By the way, my daughter called me just a while ago and told me that she was safe at home because she thought we would want to know! GOD I love my kids! I mean, she has caused me to grow a LOT of grey hair but just her all around judgment is terrific and I love her so much. She doesn't even have a clue how much! I tell her all the time but you know how kids are .... "ok mom whatever" kind of thing! lol My poor son gets embarrassed when we sign "ilove you" to him when we drop him off at school...poor boy! That won't make me stop though! lol I just simply love my kids and nothing they do will ever change that! EVER! OH my husband comes in a close second on the love list! lol Ok done for the night...sorry this got so LONG>>>>>

Slow day/first diet update
Diet update below:
Today has been a very slow and lazy day. As you all know I started the Phase 2 part of the best life diet and I'm finding it hard to stay away from the soda which is a no no on phase 2. It is diet coke but I should not be having any during this phase...and I really do want to try to do this right this time! I will keep you informed as how that's going later on.
I have no pictures to add as of right now but I may take some later or put a few older ones on here. My lunch is cooling so I better go eat before it gets too cold. I will be updating later today possibly with some pics as well. Thanks for reading!
Diet update:
Ok so far I have not been doing this diet up to par and I plan on doing better! I promised my friend that I would NOT have ONE soda tomorrow and I will do this. I got more things to choose from at the store tonight so I won't have any excuse! The food really hasn't been that bad but I do need to slow down on the Pizza. When I do have pizza I only have two slices though. AND another promise I need to make myself is to get in more exercise! In fact I'm going to go on the treadmill now! I will start out by doing 15 min a day. Thats not that much and I shouldn't have any problem doing that. I have a treadmill IN MY HOUSE...no excuse not to use it. JUST laziness! I will update later as to how I did. Ok another update:
I did get the exercise in...15 min. NOt much but better then nothing :) I will do this every day for 2 weeks and then I'm going to try for 30 min 5 times a week. Still an increase but I get 2 days off too.

House pics for sure this time!
Ok it's been a busy couple of days~! First, while i was posting pics yesterday my daughter called me and I totally forgot that I had to bring my son to her school for a speech she had and so we had to run out before I got a chance to post the pics!! BUT here they are fianlly:
First is my kitchen...it was my least favorite part of the house and we are getting a NEW kitchen when we have nothing owed on anything lol...that may take a few years! SO I will have to deal with this one until then. It's alright though, at least it's big! Our Balcony is off to the right through the glass door. This is our second floor (main level)
Next is our stairs to our first level family area. This is my favorite part of the house! I loved this area since we bought out house!
Below pic is from the first level looking 1/2 way up the stairs. And the other pic is if you would turn directly to the left and look into our lower level family area. This is where the kids mostly hang out Especially if they have friends over.
Next one is looking the other way from the family room (I showed this one before)
Next...I finally got confirmation that Stefan IS wrestling on the team for STATE! YAY! So we are heading off to Madison on Friday Morning bright and early because they have a tournament that night. Stefan will be the ONLY non-Varsity wrestler there but they have high hopes for him and believe he will do great! I'm really excited for him but yet at the same time I'm scared for him...these kids are very good wrestlers but I know Stefan is too. He had a good chance of winning! He will also be the only Deaf wrestler there so I'm sure we will have some media attention as his friend always did when he used to wrestle before he graduated last year. Maybe we can keep it quiet! lol We already did our news reports last year for all this! It was kind of fun though and Stefan said some really sweet stuff about me :) It aired on our local news station and all news stations around us as well. Of course that day at the meet I looked like crap! lol Ok better get going for now but will update later today i'm sure. Have a great day!!!

Funny Video
Yet another try at posting my video: oh my, it finally worked! Poor Nicky was so sick AND tired obviously! He feel asleep while watching Cars on the apple computer although he did manage to turn himself around and hang onto the chair! lol Cory couldn't handle it anymore..he had to rescue him! You can tell the first two times he almost fell the camera moved because Cory was about to catch him lol. This is so adorable!

Funny
Ok I had to come on here to post this video...hubby got it while I was at work and showed me when I come home. It is so funny...poor baby is still sick with a cold :(

Anyway, I'm taking Nick into the doctor today because he seems to be getting worse and not better. This is his forth day with this nasty cold and he is really complaining of a sore throat. I will post again after we get home.

Snowball Dance
To clear the air...my last entry about the friend that was teasing me about my fridge...he's just a kidder and didn't mean anything bad by it really. I just love bugging him cuz he does that to everyone else lol. He's actually a super guy and has actually taught my hubby some good manners :) OH hubby will kill me if he reads this SHHH don't tell him!
Tonight My son and Dawn went to her dance at her high school. Stefan was real excited to be able to spend the day with her.
Well, we went out to dinner before the dance with my sister and her hubby. We took Stefan and Dawn with us also. They even paid for us! THANK YOU SIS! It was just awesome! We went to the Old Country Buffet and I will for sure go there again...next time the check is mine though ok!! We will call you when we get down there next. Stefan has a dance coming up that he wants Dawn to go to so It may be sooner then we think lol. I took a small video of them walking into the school...they looked so cute. Will post it later in another entry, I have to have cory upload it into youtube first.
Her aunt and uncle are bringing Stefan home so It was real boring on the way home ...good thing I had the bear with me! My sister bought Nick a huge bear and it's just so cute. Nick really liked it! There is a pic of it below the other pics...check him out!
Have to throw this one in of Nick in a wig and Alex. Isn't this just adorable! He really does look like a little girl with a bad hair day!

I'm going to have dinner with my sister and her hubby while I'm there :) I haven't seen them in like a year! It will be fun. Will update pics and things when I get home tonight after 9pm
Early Morning!
UPDATE: I forgot I had to work tonight so it's a good thing I called at 4 tonight to ask my hours since I had off last weekend I wasn't able to get them. I didn't think I worked until Sat! Whew! So now I'm stuck at work and my batter is charged on my camera so I will take pics tomorrow of the rest of the house. I will post them in a new entry though.
The hotel is crazy tonight, we have two different hocky teams in here and they are naughty little boys! They are forever running up and down the halls and stairs. And tonight I'm sure the parents will be worse then the kids! They usually get drunk and you can't reason with them. I hate hate HATE hockey season! Can't wait till its overwith!
It was a real early morning for me today considering we usually don't pull ourselves out of bed till 9am Today Nick decided to wake up at 6:30 which in part had to do with his cold. And he also went to bed by 9 last night too. I'm still trying to fight the NO soda rule and losing that battle! I AM A FAILURE! I am proud of myself with sticking to NO eating past 8pm and I am WINNING that battle. That is easy compared to staying away from the soda. Today is garbage day which means I have to WALK all the garbage down the driveway since my van still has a flat! YES I usually put all the garbage in the van! Saves a lot of hassle and keeps nick warm while I do that. The house is still very clean but I've been working my butt off to keep it that way. Here is my routine the past week and it's been working:
Start in the basement...pick up anything on the floor shake rugs out the back door. Make sure blanket is on the "dog" couch so I don't have to vacuum the couch DAILY! Vacuum family room, hall, Stefan's room downstairs. I don't DO any rooms that belong to girls named "ALEX" Clean off glass table downstairs and wipe of bathroom counter, check toilet, clean if needed. Vacuum bathroom floor and entry way floor...run swiffer wet over floors (they are always dirty from dogs hauling in dirt from outside). Pick up laundry room. Head my way up the stairs vacuuming each step on my way up. vacuum kitchen, living room, Nicks' room and Our room. After I pick up everything off the floor that is. Put away dishes from last night, wipe off counter andtile counter. Then I sit down for a bit and it's constant picking up ALL day long if I want it to stay clean. After I'm done picking up today I will take some pics...I don't think I ever posted pics of my entire house lol. Only living room i believe because that's usually the cleanest part of my house! lol Off to do some work, talk to you all in a bit.
Ok got the basement cleaned and I did take some pics...will upload them in a bit. I am making lunch for us right now and taking a break before getting to the upstairs part of the house. I even got the mopping done but now the dogs have been in and out and already mud prints on my clean floor! OH well gotta love um!
Poor little NIck has so much Phlem he's throwing up! I can't wait till he's feeling better! Well I was able to take some pics in the basement before my battery died..I'm charging it now..hope the upstairs stays clean enough to take pics lol. Here are a few of the basement:
THIS is our "dog" covered couch (left pic) so the dogs have something to lay on down there...they are not allowed on my couch upstairs. AND here (right pic) is where he lays now that I have covered IT FOR HIM!
These are actually BEFORE I cleaned (notice dog hair on floor (Bottom left pic to the left) but it doesn't get that dirty cuz I have been cleaning it every day.

Weigh in and TONS of pics
Weigh in news:
The good news is that I didn't gain as much as I thought I was going to but the bad news is I did gain! I think if I didn't add the soda back in during Phase 1 I would have lost. But the fact that there was not 'diet' to follow and you didn't have to watch your servings really, I think i did pretty good. Now it's time to start Phase 2 (Shell are you ready?) Now we have different rules and NO soda allowed! More exercise, have to watch portion control and NO SODA! That will be the hardest part for me...to omit my diet coke! I will make my ticker and add that in a bit.
Grandma got back from Hawaii yesterday and brought us LOTS of goodies...I will take some pics here in a bit and post them:
I tried to add my pictures but shutterfly is having problems right now :( Can't get my pics uploaded! I will keep trying. I have pics of our presents from Hawaii and as my niece Heather requested pics of the clothes I got from our friends. I guess I go back to cleaning until I can try to upload them again. I'm hungry already! lol I had breakfast 2 hours ago only. I will have a fruit though...can't have anything bad because I don't have anything bad in the house! lol Which is good for me right now because I think I would eat it!
OK finally got to upload pics!! First we have gifts from Grandma from Hawaii.
These jewlery boxes were hand made and each one took the guy over two weeks to make. They are just beautiful! The first two are mine and Alex's.
OK got them into shutterfly NOW it's acting up again!

SUMMER STUFF:
This isn't even ALL of them, there are still lots of joggers (Heather is thinking "Carrie must be in heaven") lol She knows I love joggers for Nick because it's all we wear at home! Love them! And a couple jackets and snowpants yet! And we also got a shrek outfit which is in an earlier picture but it's now in the dirty clothes basket because we wore it so many times already! That and the McQueen shirt are his favs.
