Video's and more

WOW I'm so ticked!  I just spent an hour working on this entry..IF not more and I went to save it and guess what!!! "AOL JOURNALS IS UNAVAILABLE"!  GRRR  Boy did that make me angry.  Now i have to type it all up again. lol 

Ok so here we go again!  The first time I paste the videos in here they each had their own paragraph but I'm just going to post them all at the end because I'm being lazy! lol  I will make one paragraph explaining them. 
So today Cory, Nick and I went into town and they dropped me off at Dinner Helpers so I could make our dinners and they went to the grocery store.  Two birds with one stone! lol   I beat them done so I had to wait around there for about 10 min.  Then we went home.  When we got home I was amazed that the kids were not playing Wii.  They said they were TO SORE! lol  Ha I find that funny really.  I am still really sore too and this morning the area between my shoulder blades hurt like crazy too. Feels like  I just had a good workout at the gym.  U use muscles playing that game that you never thought you would.  It's amazing.  I really want one now! 
The kids stayed up till 6am playing it!  No wonder they are sore!  I usually don't let them do that but since Stefan's friends were here and Lia brought the Wii I just let them. They had a good time.  Trevor stayed over last night too and he's staying over tonight again.  Lia took the Wii home so were Wiiless tonight.  I guess we will prob watch a movie and rest our muscles tonight ;) 

Ok on to the video's 

Video ONE is of Max.  It is his first time seeing a Wii too so you can imagine the FUN he had!  Oh it was funny...I  missed the funniest part because I hadn't hauled out the video yet.  If I had know or thought about it I would have had it ready. 

Video TWO Is of Nick being pesty!  Stefan was trying to play baseball with Lia and he was just all over Stefan. I decided I wanted to see how he would react with the baby in this situation and to my amazement he was amazingly calm!  I was so very proud of him. Towards the end there he did end up standing on him but...ya know! Hey, after a while I think I would stand on him too! lol  He let Nick lay in his lap while it was his turn to pitch and that calmed him down! He's going to make a wonderful dad someday :) 

Video THREE is of Nick bowling, and Stefan and Lia boxing. Nick even gets a strike!  He kept giving Lia high fives...it was so cute. He just loves her.  He was following her around the whole two days she was here. At the end was Stefan and Lia boxing...this was so funny.   I'm glad she came over...gave us all something to do rather then our usual boring nights!  Stefan had a blast too.  He just adores lia...she had been his best friend for SO many years...there was a few years when they lost contact...got into an argument while dating lol but now they are good friends again. Don't know if there is going to be any new dating going on or not...Stefan says he wants to take his time and stay single for a while.  We will see about that...usually that doesn't last long!  lol

Ok well I think I got everything back in here again!  I copy and paste everything this time!  I learned my lesson!  I used to copy and paste every single time but then I got out of that habit!  Hope you all have a great day!   I better get off this thing now...will comment later tonight or in the A.M.

Wii ANYONE???

Oh my gosh do I have some video to share with you all!  lol  I invited my son's friend Lia over and she brought her Wii along!
 


Oh hell is that a workout!  I would not have imagined I would feel like I had just spent 4 hours at the gym after playing this game for 3 hours in a row!  WOW even my BUTT hurts!  Don't ask my how that happened but we were playing tennis so Idk!?  lol  I have not had so much fun in a long time.  We laughed and laughed!  I got so much video I can't share it all but I'm going to share the best of it.  At 2am I told the kids it was time for bed...she got Alex's room and Stefan had to sleep on a different floor next to our room lol.  Well we finally head upstairs about 3am and by 3:30 I think I finally fell of to slumber land.  And when I woke up OH MAN was i sore. lol  I think we need this in our household...seriously! 

ok I'm going to share some pictures first and then I will add the video in another entry.  I have to upload all of them and it may take me a while.  I'm hoping to get them in tonight sometime.  Ok first I have to share our beginning of the day Friday.  We decided to go shopping in Antigo so to pass the time Nick decides he's going to show Stefan what signs he knows...these are just a very few that he knows.   We start out with shoes:

Stefan and lia were trying to play baseball but Nick had other plans!  He was just pestering him beyond belief! lol  Stefan was so patient with him tho.  I have a video of this one...it's cute! 




Finally he just stands on him!  lol  Stefan enjoyed this...Nick...not so much!

Nick gets a hair cut

BY ME!!  lol  It's my first attempt at cutting his hair on my own.  I always cut Stefan's hair at least after the first initial cuts at the hair dresser.  I cut it still to this day however I do take him in once in a while to make sure it gets a good all around even cut. Usually be age three I take over to save some money...now a days a hair cut cost 15 bucks even for a little one! 
When I was young I was a "model" for my friend Jan (she was actually my sisters friend who became my friend too) who was in beauty school and she used me to practice on and took me to all her hair testing things and to her big test at the end to see if she could get her license. The only bad thing about that was she cut off TO MUCH hair right before my wedding!  OMG IT was not good but I forgave her lol. I lived!  And it grew back.  She taught me a lot about cutting hair and so now I use it to my advantage ;)   Today I am good friend with my hair dresser and she taught me some new stuff so I'm all set! lol  I cut my hubby's hair too.  The only one I don't cut is my own!  Here are the pics of Nick.

The kitten is actually laying by him willingly!  That was a Kodak moment! 




Here he is the next morning starting his mess up project in the living room that happens every single morning. 





He's checking to make sure his train is ready for action!  As you can see...I have containers for everything lol I'm a container girl. If something in my house doesn't have a container to go into It isn't long before it gets one! lol  Any "new" toys Nick gets is usually for a "set" he already has and that saves me money on new containers ;)



One thing that was VERY strange and U will rarely see this in my living room!  Seriously!   Our couch was dogless?!  When does that happen!?  lol It was so shocking to me I had to take a picture.



LOL ok not 5 min after I took this picture I did this entry and looked again...HA  this is what I seen.  There we go....living room is back to normal. lol Wait a minute...I looked at this picture and was wondering, did Max shrink????? He looks awfully small compared to my pom doesn't he!? That just does not look right lmao.  Cubby is 14 lbs and Max is hitting 65!

So wow...a year ago TOMORROW I started this journal!  I didn't even realize that until I went to look for my link  to post here!  lol  This was back before I knew how to post pictures or to make my font different!  AND of course I was suppose to be THINNER too!  Ya, that didn't happen!  Will share some pictures tomorrow.  Hope you all have a wonderful day today. RIP Lahoma

Oh wow, this has really been a sad sad week for these two young women's family!  My prayers go out to all of them!   I have been reading Lahoma's  journal for some time now and I will miss her terribly!  RIP sweet girl!   I just found out today about BOTH Lahoma AND Kim! Lahoma passed away yesterday and Kim just a few hours ago.  So very sad!  My heart goes out to their family's! 

RIP KIM

My prayers go out to Kim's family...she passed away today at 5pm.  Oh her poor little boy!  I just feel so badly for him!  May she rest in peace!  

A beautiful morning!!

WOW this is what I got the pleasure of waking up to this morning. There were beautiful crystals glistening all over every tree you looked at!  I had to go out on my cold balcony to take these pictures but it was way worth it!  These pictures don't even come close to doing this justice though!  It was so beautiful I thought I had to share it.  I love living out here in the country :) Can you tell?! 







That rock in the back of this picture (below) is our precious Bailey's grave.  AND my old dog Sheba as well.  (Sheba's ashes were saved and put in with Bailey)





Stefan did a pretty good job plowing!  This is the new snowfall we have gotten although I was suppose to be a lot more.  We got a lot of rain and then the snow finally came.  Grandpa showed him how to use the snowblower yesterday.  Cory was gone out of town doing work on a computer. 



Ok now I have a few funny things to share.  Stefan decided to torture Max and dress him up!  Oh it was WAY funny...I'm glad I got a short video of him!  That is below!  Check it out!

Been a long weekend

If you get another alert on this entry it's because i accidentally deleted my video and had to redo it...Ignore this alert!

Lets see I have been MIA since Friday and usually the weekends are saved for hubby and the kids so If I'm on it's when they are napping or gone someplace.  Lets see...Saturday and Sunday were both snow/rain days so we stayed our butts home and watched a few movies. 

We finally were able to get our hands on a Harry Potter movie and of course it was great!  I thought the big fight was a little less then the other ones but it was still a great movie. 

We also seen The Kingdom  That was a really good movie and a real eye opener!   It's staring Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner which is why I watched it.  I love her in movies!  It is about a group of 4 FBI agents sent to Saudi Arabia to solve a mass murder.  Full of action if that's what your looking for. 

Then we seen Bring it on (the last one) kind of dumb but cute.  We had a few laughs. If your not into the "teen" movies then i wouldn't watch this one. 

Next was Bratz...I thought it was a cute movie. My hubby didn't like it lol Although he watched the whole thing with me and did laugh a few times.  I thought it was cute...again another teen kind of movie.  The main reason I watched it was because it has a deaf boy in it the same age as Stefan. 

On snowy weekends we watch a lot of movies lol.  Although it's not all we do.  Nick has been wanting to get out in this snow and play so I may take him out after his nap.  It's not all that cold out...it's 22.

I have a few cute pics to share with you. And a cute video of Aspen putting up with Jack.  Our Aspen is such a perfect cat...I couldn't have asked for a better cat!  What a sad day when he passes away! We rescued Aspen from a shelter and he was so very sick...he had upper respiratory infections, worms, eye infections, and several other problems.  He was TINY when we got him.   And we nursed him back to health with the help of the vet of course and he's been the best cat ever since! Check out that video at the end of my entry. 

Here are a few pictures of Stefan and Max and Stefan and Lia (his best "girl" friend) She is deaf also and just so beautiful.  She came all the way over from her home town which is a ways away.  They were shopping and came over to see Stefan (her and two of her friends) and she even got Stefan a gift!  It was a really  nice gift and actually was not cheap! This is why Stefan doesn't own many of them! lol  It was a sweat shirt from American Eagle...now we all know those things cost a fortune!  THANKS LIA if your reading!  :)  He's wearing it today actually.

Here is Stefan and Lia.  I never noticed how tall she was until that night lol  She is way taller then I am and close to Stefan's height.  Stefan is just shy of 6 foot. She's a basketball player.



Here is Stefan and his new sweatshirt...his hair is a little crazy he just got in from plowing! lol  Max is licking his neck lol  He's mad at him for leaving him in the house while he plowed!  He was whining to go out the entire time Stefan was out there. 




And here is the video, as you can see Jack is making himself at home and is healthy finally!  He was full of worms and had upper respiratory problems too.  We had him on antibiotics and man did that cheer him up.  Mostly i think getting rid of the worms made him feel a lot better. He's still so tiny tho!  He's just now over a lb! 

How did my day go?

Ok time for rewind for a minute:

Well, I didn't tell you all on Thursday because I was furious and didn't want to talk about it but, Max did it again!  He chewed up our couch cushion! Remember when I said "OH at least he didn't chew the couch cushion!" HAHA The day AFTER he chewed the feather pillow Now the pillow...no big deal...ya, it's cute and funny too maybe, but the COUCH!  That is not funny! ok so after I got a day to calm down...it is a little funny but not much!  Thank god it was the one in our rec room but STILL!  It was a nice couch.  I didn't take a picture of the "mess" he left me cuz I was throwing flames and the pieces burned up!!!!!!!! Put it this way...member the feathers!? Well the foam pieces were in the same place and same area! I did take pics today of the cushion-less couch and the left over cushion! So now I'm hunting for a new piece of foam to go on the couch.  I had pulled off the cloth from the cushion to wash them so I still have the cloth!

 



Here's the culprit!  He's SO lucky I love him to death!  I do, I love this dog no matter what he does.  He honestly is a GREAT dog when we are home and before that vet visit he was a good dog left home unattended!  He's our baby and since there is no way we are getting rid of him we will have to deal with all this and just continue to kennel him when were not home. I don't want to do that but it won't kill him to be in a kennel for a few hours.  Most days I'm home all day anyhow. Well, lets just hope the next thing he chews is not something of that magnitude!  What happened to dogs chewing SHOES when they were mad?!  I suppose there were no shoes laying out! 



Ok, now that I got that rant out....on to our wrestling meet last night.  It ended up raining  before weleft the school so it was a bit slippery and I didn't like the drive home at all!  But we made it safe and sound.  Stefan had one match...with a total of 80 wrestlers on their team several of them don't get to wrestle at all but Stefan usually  has a match every time.  Or sometimes several matches so he's very lucky.  He's not feeling well today so he's home from school which means no meet on Saturday for him :(  Here is his match from last night:Now this video was cut out just a little cuz I had to borrow a memory card from my niece and as I started taping it said it was FULL!! THANKS HEATHER lol  So I had to delete his friend Trevor's so I could finish up Stefan's match...and turns out it was much left to tape lol  Oh well...




Trevor wasn't to happy...he got a pin and he doesn't get pins that often! I told him to get a pin next time and I will record him again!  I had a good time at the meet...talked with Stefan's interpreter most of the night.  Nick stayed home with dad so I got a break too :)  It was so nice. All in all the night was a success! 

A day out!

I'm kind of excited...I get a night out tonight even if it is only to a wrestling meet!  My daughter is going to meet me over there too so her brother will be happy to see her there.  She will usually go to his meets if she doesn't work.   I will be sure to take pictures and of course I'm going to record his match.

Max watches grandpas bulldozer next door!  He thinks its some big monster.  He barks uncontrollably at it...although I think he's finally getting used to seeing it there. 

 

Lets see..yesterday I didn't journal but I did get to take a ride and go into town.  We had one box of cookies left to deliver at a store near Stefan's school.  So after being bored all day and not doing much at all, Nick and I head to town at 5:15 to pick Stefan up after practice.  We dropped off the cookies, got a few things we forgot last shopping trip, said hi to a few wrestlers and parents we seen there shopping, and then we head for home.  Of course as soon as we get in the truck and buckled in Nick informs me that he has to go potty!  Ha. ya. ok. well, so I call my niece (we usually stop by and use her potty frequently) but she wasn't home.  OH, ya  it' s WED she works.  So I call my sister...umm were coming over to use your potty...lol  She was watching the boys so Nick wanted to stay and play of course.  He left without making a fuss...and we finally head home after getting some gas!  Prob a good thing Nick did have to go potty because I think we would have ran out of gas on the way home.  I forgot all about it!  I seen the gas light as we pulled up to my sisters! We made it home after Cory 7:30 ish and I stuck dinner in the oven for tomorrow.  We had leftovers yesterday (still eating the Ham i made the other day) i thought since I have the meet Thursday I will just make dinner now...now dinner is done and I don't have to make anything tonight! YEAH!  So anyway, here are some pictures from today...AND a beautiful letter from Janis over at FITBYFORTY.  I just love these types of letters!  Thanks Janis!  I got her letter a few days ago.

 



Max likes to play a game with Cubby called I can fit your whole head in my mouth!  I just missed it! I will try to catch it again! lol It's so funny looking! OH does Cubby get mad at him when he does that!   Hey notice their little doggie  name tags!?  They have the pirates or the carribian on them.

Ok well, I'm off of here to get cleaning before I have to head out tonight for the meet.  I will be back on here tomorrow with pics and videos.  I sure hope he wins this match...it's a big meet for the team.

I forgot to share the video!  So I'm adding a part two.  Yes, Stefan likes to play Nicks game too ;)  He's so funny.   Nick is using his microphone to call the animals.  At the end of the video he notices grandma coming in again.  Sorry for the noisy doggie barking!  He's always making noise.  You will rarely hear Max bark tho.  He will run along with cubby to see what the fuss is about but he usually will not bark. Here are also some pics of the painting Nick has done since we got his finger paints.

 





OH and the animals got toys too! I almost forgot! lol  Max's is the boxing glove, Cubby's is the dog toy and Aspen and Jack got chew toys.  Jack loves his!

Ok pics from yesterday

Well, I'm feeling a bit better today ;)  Thanks for the nice comments...i needed that!  SO anyway....here are some pics from our yesterdays celebration.  Like i said...yesterday was no big deal.  Nick and I stayed home all day and I suppose today will be the same. It's so freaking cold out side!  I don't even want to go out.  Stefan emailed me at 10 or so (I was already in bed) and he asked me to wash his wrestling clothes.  If he has thrown them in the washer I would have put them in the dryer but he didn't bother to do that so he didn't get them washed!  Luckily MOM washed a set yesterday!  I didn't tell him that tho lol I just let him think he had to wear stinky clothes to practice today until this morning MWAHHHAAAAHA !!!  By the way, if you didn't see the wrestling videos from the other day scroll DOWN to see them! They are awesome!  He has another meet Thursday so I will record that one too and post it here.  I'm not a huge wrestling fan but I LOVE  high school wrestling!  It's nothing like the pro crap you see on tv thats for sure...hate that fake stuff! lol  My  nephew went to one and he said it's all like acting.  Made out to look vicious! To me that is not a sport at all.  No wonder the ROCk was such a good actor on his movies lol. 
Ok so now that I have nothing else to say I will post the pics.  I never got any of grandma, Alex or Pat tho! :( I can't believe I didn't take some of them! BAD MOMMY!  They were all sitting by me tho and I had control of the camera!  lol  That's prob why! At first Nick didn't want anything to do with the presents!  NOTHING! He ran to his room crying and everything lol.  THEN when he finally figured out HOW to open them he ripped into each one and loved them...then he wanted more when we were done.





FINGER PAINTS!!  He loves to paint!





His sister got him door knob decorations.  He played with those almost the entire night!  They came with stick on dino's! 



His two big presents were the pooh theater.  It reads story's to you while showing pics on the wall.  He loves this! 



AND this!  The Vtech Smile for ages 3-7 he was amazingly good at playing this game.

Alex gave Stefan a bag of M&M's...his fav is reeses peanut butter cups but next would be M&M's lol Here he was asking if they were his.




After told him yes this is what he did...lol he's clapping!



Here was grandpas gift...it's a huge vacuum for his basement. He's been remodeling and there is lots of sawdust and stuff...this vacuums it all up :)



And this is the day after...Nick was wearing Stefan's belt. lol 



We got grandma book we made with our apple computer filled with pics of the kids but it didn't get here in time :(  I will take a pic of it when we get it. 

OH  Stefan also got HIS license paid for!  Alex got gift cards and clothes...things she really needed.  Pat got clothes from us.
